About This Game Winged Sakura: Mindy's Arc is a fast-paced anime-themed Strategy Defense game with RPG mechanics based on telling a story about Mindy Akumori, a weak girl that's currently suffering from amnesia. The story is set in an unknown dimensional world where Mindy is trapped inside a building. The building contains a Sakura Platform that allows her to teleport to various places within the dimensional world, called entrances. In this era, Sakura (aka Cherry Blossoms), are known as magical flowers that give humans the ability to become a Sakura Contractor, granting them abnormal powers. If the Contractor dies, the Sakura dies. If the Sakura dies, the Contractor dies. Will Mindy remember her past? Will she survive and make it back to her world alive? Really tedious. And I even like a good grind sometimes if the gameplay is fun. The worst part is that someone clearly spent a lot of time making the grind so boring. I feel sorry for that guy.. This game is for experienced lane defense gamers. It is not a tower defense game. It is a twitch based lane defense game on steroids. This game will test your mouse reflex skills to the extreme limits. Maybe even break a mouse or two! lol There is no rest for the wicked in this game! There is too much going onscreen all at once to enjoy the game for even a minute for me.Don't let this discourage you from buying the game though. It might be an extreme challenge, but it seems professionally made and has great support from the devs! It's got great art and good RPG elements. I'm just getting old and slow. I would have loved this game when I was younger and my reflexes were faster.I only recommend this game to experienced twitch based lane defense gamers. It's fast. Wickedly fast!. The gameplay is good but the UI is quite bad.Stuffs like crafting, upgrading ...etc are hampered by the poor UI.Overall still considered good mainly because of the gameplay.. Great game the place and disapear tower machanic brings a new way to play (to me) and the dialogue is funny and light. the only issue i have is the needed grinding at certin pionts. Great game. I remember years and years ago on the PSN there was a game called Crystal Defenders, sort of similar, I've been looking for a similar game for years now, it was a great way to pass the time.I'd recommend this.. The weird girly anime theme of this game almost kept me from playing it, however after watching a gameplay video I decided to give it a try. After the first hour of play I couldn't stop playing.The game is a combination of plants vs zombies, tactical/RPG and anime, a weird combination that somehow works really well. The story takes some time to get going but by the end I was actually interested in finding out would happen.. Good bgm especially the fourth entrance.Can not skip the texture that you must left click mouse all the time.Story mode is simple but waste time cuz stopping me at the 1-6.I wasted times and times to solve but failed,finally found it easy to pass through the easy mode.You have to farm a lot of items in the last level every stage.It is likely as the same as the game Plants.Vs.Zombie but differently the towers(which is call spirits in this game) have time limite.The spirits get exp easy in the lower levels but that almost doing nothing.You should pass though levels many many times to earn money so that you can upgrade your weapons.Totally I did that whole things 22 hours to reach the end.Then the achivements collecting began.I give it yes/thumb up but don't think you should buy it and play it.. Game is good, it´s difficult to learn but once you get the hang of it it becomes much easier, until you move up to another difficulty and get destroyed again, the difficulty curve is sometimes insane and takes a lot of "training" to move on but i really liked that this game is a challenge even on easy.Only con i really have is the end game farming, getting to level 99 takes way too much, otherwise no complains about this great game..
